Google Updates Structured Data Examples To Use Hashtags For @id References

The structured data documentation from Google has been updated to include hashtags for @id references. It is acceptable to omit hashtags, although according to Google, using hashtags as resolvable in-page node identifiers in RDF is "schema best practice."

Google clarified that hashtags have been used in place of in-page @id references in all samples of structured data code.
