5 new tools for LinkedIn creators to get more followers & visibility
LinkedIn creators may be found and followed more readily through the feed, search results, and other channels...
LinkedIn unveiled new tools and capabilities that are intended to make creators more visible, discoverable, and followable. To use these features, you must have Creator Mode enabled and a public profile.
This is what's new.
1. Starting with the feed, follow.
If someone views your material in their feed but you aren't their first connection, LinkedIn will now provide them the option to follow you without leaving the feed. In addition to displaying a Follow button, LinkedIn will push users to follow producers in order to view more of their posts and learn more about what they discuss.
2. Proceed from the search.
Make sure to include any relevant hashtags in your creator profile if you haven't already. This is because, when LinkedIn users search for a firm or topic, they will now find people who routinely discuss those issues. Also, make sure you're posting on things that are important to you.
Important search statistic: On LinkedIn, searches account for 18% of all follows.
3. Increase your following on other platforms.
LinkedIn creators will soon be able to generate a link that can be shared or embedded on other websites or in emails. Anyone who follows you on LinkedIn will be able to do so if they click that link. This will be accessible in the "next few weeks."
4. Obtain followers through connection requests.
When you receive a LinkedIn connection request, that individual automatically becomes one of your followers and begins seeing your post updates in their feed.
5. Include a link in your bio.
LinkedIn announced in April that everyone who creates content will be able to include a link in the introduction part of their profiles. It shows your followers' and connections' numbers below your user name and description. This has now been fully implemented. You can now add a link to this page leading to your website, online store, event, or anything else you like.
These new features and tools could be beneficial to businesses and individuals if your aim is to increase your visibility and follower count on LinkedIn. Additionally, LinkedIn will grant access to Audio Events to more creators. Audio Events, which went into beta testing in January, will open up to content producers that adhere to LinkedIn's "community policies of being a trustworthy, safe, and professional supplier of content" in "the coming weeks."
